bargaining update

It's hard to believe that 2016 is winding down. 2016 was quite a ride. And yet for VTA/VUSD things were fairly quiet. A year ago we signed an agreement with the district that gave both parties some breathing room.

Well now it's time to start thinking about bargaining again. Both parties will need sunshine proposals (announce what they want to discuss) at an upcoming board meeting, likely in March.
