The VTA Scholarship Selection Committee is very pleased to
announce the recipients of the 2006 VTA Scholarships.
Thanks to the generosity of 545 contributors (42% of members),
we were able to provide
$32,600
this year, 86 awards divided among 61
graduating high school seniors and 25 college undergrads.
Since its inception in 1988, the VTA Scholarship Fund has awarded
$351,200
to nearly 900 deserving scholars.
I sincerely thank all of you who have helped make this endeavor successful.
No association in this county even comes close, and only a few in the
entire state surpass us. As Chair of the VTA Scholarship Board, I would
like to congratulate all of these students and wish them continued success
in their academic pursuits.
