The VUSD 8th Annual Festival of the Arts took place on Saturday, October 23rd in Vista Village. This annual event showcased the visual and performing arts from students within the district, grades Kindergarten through 12. This year the Vista Teacher’s Association hosted a craft booth and gave out free children’s books. Children had the opportunity to make a “Spooky Hand” Halloween craft. Teacher and student volunteers helped over 100 children make the “Spooky Hands” by filling a plastic glove with candy corn for finger nails and popcorn. The VTA Arts Festival booth was a huge success!
